Lisa Tumbarello, Principal Designer and Interior Stylist, spent her formative years working in the fashion industry in Washington, D.C., New York and London until a yearning for a quieter, more purpose-driven life led her out to the country. Her interest and exploration into interior design ignited while building her "forever home" in the Appalachian Mountains near Harper's Ferry, WV. Designing and building a home from concept to completion, accompanied by many years of collecting and curating special objects, has allowed Lisa to develop a keen eye for luxurious, yet down-to-earth styles. She gravitates towards anything handmade and rusted with patina. Mixing the old with the new brings life to spaces and tells the stories of its inhabitants.

Her own experience of raising a family, connecting with nature, and witnessing the power of what a healthy and beautiful home can provide, has inspired Lisa to help clients tap into their ambitions and create spaces that allow them to relax and appreciate all that life has to offer.

Lisa, her husband Paul, son Andy, two dachshunds and a barn cat, live on a pastoral hilltop overlooking the Potomac River in Maryland. When she's not dreaming up beautiful spaces, you can find her digging in her garden or hunting for treasures at any flea market.
